"My name is Patrycja Gawlik; I was born in Poland and came to Canada at the age of 3. I am now 19 years old, attending Durham College in the 911 Emergency and Call Centre Communications program, as a full time student. For over 10 years I took part in in the Polish Folk Song and Dance Ensemble "Tatry". I was a proud member of the Polish Scouting Association as a "Węndrowniczka", where I helped with the planning and organizing of activities for younger scouts. I am thankful to all the ladies and gentlemen of the Veterans Society for choosing me to be Miss Krakow 2015. I can assure you, with my attitude and behaviour I will proudly represent the Krakow pavilion."
