This Is What We’re About
Every fiesta week tells a story. Every culture brings something unforgettable. Together, they create something the world needs more of — real connection.
From the streets of Benidorm to the plazas of San Antonio, from Toronto’s Filipino community to Oshawa’s own backyard — fiesta weeks are where heritage comes alive. Where strangers become neighbours. Where food is love and music is the universal language.

🧡 WHAT UNITES EVERY FIESTA WEEK
Strip away the language. Look past the borders. Every fiesta week — whether it’s in a Canadian city, a Spanish coastal town, a Texas plaza, or a Toronto waterfront — is built on the same foundation:
Family First
Multi-generational celebrations where grandparents and toddlers share the same dance floor
Food Is Love
Every dish tells a story of homeland, migration, adaptation, and pride
Music Connects
You don’t need to speak the language to feel the rhythm in your bones
Pride of Place
Celebrating where you came from while embracing where you are now

53 YEARS OF BRINGING
THE WORLD TO DURHAM REGION
Oshawa’s Fiesta Week was built on a simple truth: the best way to understand each other is to celebrate together. For 53 years, 12 international pavilions have opened their doors to share food, music, dance, and stories from every corner of the globe. This isn’t multiculturalism as a buzzword — it’s multiculturalism as a lived, tasted, danced reality.
